12/6/07 Molson Coors Environmental Initiatives. Molson Coors has undertaken a series of environmental initiatives, including a plan to steadily reduce its energy use year after year, and converting some of the waste of its brewery in Golden, Colo., into ethanol for sale in the marketplace. Coors announced that it would reduce its emissions by 12 percent, tied to its production levels, by 2010 as part of its partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Leaders Program.
